GRP 1– Recognized small displacement production sports cars and sedans

GRP 2 – Formula Ford (FF), Formula Junior (FJR), Club Ford, (CF) and Post Club Ford (PCF) as specified by the SVRA Formula Ford rule book

GRP 3 – Series-produced sports cars and sedans in production prior to 1972

GRP 4 – Limited produced sports cars, racing “specials” and GT cars built or in production prior to 1960

GRP 5B -Early model Sports Racers 1600cc Twin Cam or less

GRP 8 – Recognized series-produced sports cars and sedans in production prior to 1979

GRP 5a– Sports 2000

GRP 6 – Select big bore production sports cars and sedans through 1972

GRP 7 – World Championship of Makes, on slicks; Under 2L sports cars as raced after 1972; Can-Am as raced after 1967; center-seat Can Am, SCCA ASR and BSR

GRP 12 – Early and late model sports cars, mostly 3.0L

GRP 9 – All open wheel cars on slicks from 1970 to 2014 from the early F-2 cars to modern F-1 cars and everything in between

GRP 11 – GTP/Group C, ALMS, PSCR, WSC, Grand Am, Prototypes, SCCA P1 and P2 as raced from 1981

PSSA – A new prototype race series that hosts a variety of Radical, Ligier, Revolution and Wolf prototype race cars. The Series mandates the use of Hankook racing tires

GRP 10 – Select GT sports cars, Trans-Am, Stock cars, select cars raced between 1973 and 1999, Trans Am and production based contemporary cars as raced from 1999 to five years from today’s date

IGT – A North American racing series that includes Stuttgart Cup, Mission Foods GT3 Cup Trophy and Maranello Cup championships for late model Porsche Cup, Caymans and Ferraris

Formula Atlantic – An open wheel car powered by 300 hp engines and capable of speeds in excess of 175 mph. Cars have highly developed aerodynamic packages

F2000 – Introduced in 1970, as the next step from F1600. F2000 has more horsepower, larger tires, wings and diffusers. Not a spec car with numerous chassis designs and engines allowed

F1000 – An open wheel race car with fully adjustable wings and suspension. Formula 1000 gets its name from the 1000cc superbike engine used to power the single seat race car

F1600 – First raced in the U.S. in 1969. Often called FF or Formula Ford, the F1600 is a non-winged, single seat, race car powered by a Honda engine
