Letter From the CEO
Welcome to SVRA’s Vintage Festival! We are very happy to relaunch our 2020 race season at America’s National Park of Speed.
Vintage and historic racers from throughout the country have gathered to challenge Road America’s high-speed, 4.2-mile, 14-turn, road course.
The paddocks are rich with history, showcasing racing’s iconic marques that include: Alfa Romeo, MG, Cobra, Ferrari, Lola, McLaren, Jaguar, Ford, Porsche, among many more. Dozens of Mazda Miatas have gathered for a Marque Reunion and Heritage Cup race. The International GT Series and Radical Blue Marble Cup, restart their interrupted race seasons.
Everyone is excited to get back to the track. We encourage you to enjoy the paddocks, meet the drivers, examine the cars and watch some great racing. Be it learning about a unique race car, getting an autograph or taking a lap around the track, your visit to the Vintage Festival is sure to be memorable.
Please take all of the necessary precautions to ensure your own health and the safety of those around you. Social distancing is a must.
SVRA dates back to the Kendall Grand Prix, a vintage race held in 1976 as part of the annual 12 Hours of Sebring. From an initial membership of 25 enthusiasts who got together in 1978 to form one of the oldest vintage racing organizations, SVRA has grown to become the premier vintage racing organization in the United States, with more than 2,000 active members.
I’m thrilled to present this world-class event and welcome drivers, fans and enthusiasts of all ages to the Vintage Festival.
Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines. Let’s go racing!
