Letter From the CEO
Welcome to the Atlanta SpeedTour! We are very happy to be back in Georgia at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta and excited to again challenge this world-class 12-turn, 2.54-mile road course. With the postponement of December’s Trans Am SpeedFest at Laguna Seca to next year, Atlanta is now our season Finale.
The track is overflowing with rich history, showcasing hundreds of racing icons…Brabham, Datsun, Alfa Romeo, Mazda, Lola, Porsche, Corvette— these are just a few of the legendary nameplates you’ll find throughout the paddocks.
Saturday, our Car Show will exhibit some of the best classic and exotic vehicles Georgia has to offer. Saturday night everyone is invited to a paddock Drive In Movie to watch Smokey and the Bandits.
We started the 2020 race season with a commitment to live stream all of our SpeedTour events. Please invite your friends, family and fans to join you by downloading the Trans Am and SVRA Apps. The live stream broadcasts offer real-time race coverage of the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli and SVRA Vintage Races. In addition, we’ll provide the event program, race results and late-breaking news.
Whether as a driver, crew, sponsor or race official, whether you’ve travelled from a different place or run in a different series, everyone here has motorsports at heart. We all have an obligation to keep everyone around us safe, on and off the track. Please wear a mask, practice social distancing and adhere to the required health and safety guidelines. As always, our goal is to “make racing with us safer than going to the grocery store.”
If you’re in the hunt for a Championship, an admirer of Mustangs or wheeling an 850 hp Trans Am car around the track, there’s something for everyone at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta this weekend. I’m thrilled to present this world-class event.
Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines. Let’s go racing!
